The Applebee's in Emporia is much like any other Applebee's anywhere else. The difference comes from the management and service. A server named Jenn gave us great service two weeks ago. A server named EmmaJean gave us bad service this week.

Came in for dinner after a long day of concrete polishing. Went up to the bar and ordered double jack &Pepsi, strawberry margaritas frozen + salt, the combo appettizer and a quesdilla burger. Every was fresh and tasty. Bartender was nice

Sat at the bar, horrible stench! Ordered the Patron Margarita, that was good. The Ceasars salad, brown as in photo's. The sirloin with mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli, I ordered the steak med rare, came to me rare, sent it back, came to me medium. Mashed and broccoli were alright. Ordered another drink, not so great, not sure what she done but .... hum! In the end, met some people and enjoyed!

We ordered our food for pickup, and overall it was good. The food was warm and tasty, but it took a little time to be ready because the place seemed busy when we arrived. The inside looks like a typical Applebee’s, with a bar and tables where people can sit and eat, and so on.

The Bartender, Rochelle, is a gem! She doesn't miss a beat. She's attentive, personable and very friendly! The kitchen doew a great job keeping up with orders! Good Job, Emporia Applebee's!

ATTENTION COVID WEARY CUSTOMERS. APPLEBEE'S IN EMPORIA AND EVERYWHERE ELSE WILL NO LONGER LET YOU GET THEIR HALF PRICE APPETIZERS VIA CURBSIDE. YOU NOW HAVE TO GO INSIDE AND ORDER THEM THERE IF YOU WANT TO GET THEM HALFPRICE!!! I turned into a Kyle and requested to speak to the manager about this and they said it is a new corporation policy that Applebee's has to follow. So I sat inside with three mask on while everyone around me was eating like there wasnt no pandemic waiting for my Chicken Quesadillas. I must say that their bartender Tanner is a awesome Bartender who will tend to your needs and on my last trip there I was able to get my chicken Quesadilla to go since i went in right before they closed. Very comfortable atmosphere and this is the go to place for your hald price appetizers.

First time we have been to the Emporia location, It was very good. We will be going back Second visit to Applebee's in Emporia, got the pasta with honey chicken tenders... was not good at all
